Science Fairs
GEORGIA SCIENCE FAIR PROGRAM 2010-2011
Atlanta AFCEA Chapter
AFCEA Atlanta supports the Atlanta area schools and science curriculums by offering volunteer science fair judges at each of the county science fairs.
To support this program, AFCEA-Atlanta depends on volunteers like you to step up and help out. Volunteering is fun and rewarding. Below is the schedule for upcoming science fairs. We need at least one judge per science fair. Please click on the link next to the fair name to volunteer for that fair.
Judges should have the following prior to the start of the Science Fair:
- 2 checks for potential winners–one $100 for High School winner and one $50 for Jr High/Middle school winner (Note: if a team of two or more students win, obtain the name(s) and address(es) and additional checks will be mailed). Please coordinate with Mary Barranti for the checks.
- 1 copy of the $100 winner letter
- 2 copies of the $50 winner letter
- 2 student membership applications
- 2 postage-paid, AFCEA Atlanta addressed envelopes
