			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://afcea-atlanta.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/GSEF_2012_Armed_Forces_-_Anand_Srinivasan_small4.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-592" title="GSEF_2012_Armed_Forces_-_Anand_Srinivasan_small" src="http://afcea-atlanta.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/GSEF_2012_Armed_Forces_-_Anand_Srinivasan_small4-216x300.jpg" alt="" width="216" height="300" /></a>AFCEA Atlanta is proud to announce the winner of the AFCEA Cash Prize awarded to Mr. Anand Srinivasan at the 2012 Georgia Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF), held on March 30, 2012, in Athens, Georgia.  Mr. Srinivasan’s project is titled “iLegs: A Semi-Autonomous Robotic Locomotion Assistant.”  He started working on the concept less than two years ago.  In that time he was able to create the control system, human-machine interface, and working prototype robotic legs.  Mr. Srinivasan has agreed to give a brief overview and demonstration of his work at the April, 2012, AFCEA luncheon from 11:30 to 1:00 pm.  Anand will be accompanied by his teacher Ms. Megan Nettuno, and Mr. Srini Ramaswamy (father).  The luncheon will be held at the Dobbins ARB club.</p>

<p><strong>Mr. Conway is a third year cadet in the Air Force ROTC Detachment 165. In ROTC he has assisted with recruitment, developed a new processing program and aided in the improvement of training for cadets. He is an active member of a church community and volunteers at a high school.</strong></p>
